OFCOM are the national regulator for broadcasting who have recently released details of the forthcoming licence for DAB broadcasting across the Poole, Purbeck and Wimborne area of Dorset.

P&P Digital Media are a community based group applying to provide DAB radio via new transmitters. These will broadcast a wide range of stations attracting many listeners from the local communities across Poole, Purbeck and Wimborne. We are keen to provide a reflection of life across our area on this new radio service.

Even though the multiplex will offer many radio stations the opportunity to broadcast, these are still limited to a certain number – P&P Digital Media will give preference to those who are able to support our licence application. Please get in touch as soon as possible if you’d like to see your service on air.

When the licence has been awarded by OFCOM we will open the application process for anybody wishing to provide a radio service.

The independent P&P Digital Media application is run by a locally-led team for the benefit of the Poole, Purbeck and Wimborne community.
